AQS was founded in 1997 to provide CIO Advisory Services (Consulting/Outsourcing), Infrastructure Engineering, Outsourced IT Support, Network Security Services. We quickly discovered that Meeting/Event Management was a market sector that required all of the services we provide. Yet Event managers were struggling to obtain all these services from a large assortment of vendors. The Company added Event Management to its roster of services in 1998.

Missing from the complete palette of Information Technology Services and Event Management was creative design. Thus, in 2002, AQS merged with ParkerGrove Design Studio to incorporate Design and Development competencies within the AQS core services. This fortuitous merger permitted the company to truly offer "one-stop shopping" for any Information Management System and Event Management Service.

AQS quickly moved to the forefront of the IMS and Event Management Services arena, landing in the Washington Business Journal's Top 25 list of Interactive Design and Development companies in the DC, Maryland and Virginia areas for 2004 and 2005. At the same time, AQS was also listed in that magazine's Top 25 listing of Technology Services companies.
